New sites
Two new sites for this month - Drumfish and Roger Barnett Animation
Lava Lamp
We've just put the finishing touches to the intro of new our animated sitcom Lava Lamp.
Syd Sym
We've finished building a website for Syd Sym's Sweet Symmetry, a fun new puzzle game for the iPhone
New office
Summer's here and Templeweed has moved into a new office. We've also redesigned the site to make things a bit easier to find, and you can now find us on Facebook.
Sting
We've been given the thumbs up by The Bristol Natural History Consortium and they have asked us to come up with a 'sting' based on their logo for the Bristol Festival of Nature big screen:
Cuttlefish
We are busy putting together a Cuttlefish animation piece for the Bristol Festival of Nature which will be shown in Millenium Square June 12th & 13th.
Launch
Our new website has launched!
We were asked to produce an animation based on the life of a Cuttlefish to show at the Bristol Festival of Nature 2010.
We also produced a short booklet which details the whole process from brief to the final film to be used in an animation workshop.
We were asked to produce a looping 'sting' to be shown between films at the Bristol Festival of Nature 2010 based around their logo.
After several nature/animal ideas, we decided on a stylised bumblebee character who would illuminate the logo when he landed and swipe it back out as he flew past.
We were asked to create a logo and set of character designs for the Snow Rabbit baby & child photography agency to be used for web and promotional material.
We were asked to create a site advertising Syd Sym's Sweet Symmetry, a new puzzle game for the iPhone. The site needed to match the in-game artwork and be compatible with the iPhone.
This is one for us. A classic four guys in a house sitcome set in post-millenium Britain such as it is (or isn't). We decided to stick with the rough hand drawn look we established working on previous projects with just a sprinkling of computer magic.
We're busy working away on the episodes as you read this but for now here's the title sequence in all its glory.
Cui has been with us from the very start. In this touching tale he learns the true meaning of friendship.
We will be creating a fully hand drawn version in the near future

We were asked to design a visually striking website for professional drum tutor Mike East (aka The Drumfish).
We began by creating an iconic looking illustration which would be the centerpiece for the site and constructed the page to the exact spec of the client which resulted in an interesting graphic look.
We were asked to update a portfolio website for animator and artist Roger Barnett. We went for a simple graphical style to make sure his work remained the focus of the site.
Roger had a hundreds of images and videos which he wanted to show, so we created a selection of galleries to display them in. We processed his videos so they could be used on the web and updated his showreel to match the new site.
Here's a selection of pieces we have done for bands and promotors including gig posters, logos, album artwork and banners
